Why train outdoors?
Training outdoors has many benefits.
Training outdoors ensures you use natural human movements as opposed to a predetermined mechanical movement experienced with gym based equipment.
Research shows we spend 90% of our time indoors. Our bodies were not created to be inactive and need to be outdoors more often.Training outdoors exposes our bodies to natures beneficial elements such as:
- Oxygen enriched fresh air as opposed to stale smelly air of indoor gyms
- Vitamin D from the sun. Essential for optimal health
- Rain. Okay I don’t know of any scientifically proven cases of the health benefits of rain but, remember as a kid how much enjoyment you got playing in the rain and splashing in puddles. It did wonders for mental stimulation. And as my mother always said… “No one ever died from getting wet from the rain”

Training in a group increases motivation, creates a fun social environment and builds competitiveness. You become accountable to each other and less likely to miss sessions and make excuses.
We provide variety in our programmes to keep your mind and bodies refreshed to achieve the desired results.
Black2Basic Fitness provides different outdoor programs to suit your needs, from beginners classes to advanced equipment based classes.
We prefer not to use the phrase “Bootcamp” at Black2Basic Fitness. It conjures up a military style training directed by an over zealous Sergeant Major! This suits some but we prefer to use a more gentle approach while still having fun and achieving great results.
Outdoor group fitness is a more affordable option than one on one personal training and still maintains the personal attention.
